Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team at Comprehensive Learning Services In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children by providing expert assessment and therapy services to address a wide range of developmental challenges.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's sensory, motor, and cognitive abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve children's fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including speech therapists, physical therapists, and psychologists, to ensure coordinated care.
  • Provide education and support to parents and caregivers, empowering them to facilitate their child's development at home and in the community.
  • Stay abreast of current research and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy to continually enhance the quality of care provided.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • State licensure as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working with pediatric populations in a clinical setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric development and typical milestones.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to working with children and their families.
